Inferno

Inferno is Boards of Canada at their most corrupted‑nostalgic. Instead of comforting the burnout generation, they scramble childhood memories into something eerie and unstable: kids‑TV synths detuned, tape‑worn and hacked by glitchy IDM drums. “Naraka” is the brutal core, swapping woozy warmth for hard, machine‑driven percussion and stark Hare Krishna samples. It plays like a cursed Warp artefact beamed into the present – uneasy, ritualistic and weirdly irresistible for fringe‑minded listeners.
